Help learn "Switches" and "Consecutive Switches"
One of the first Astrojax “tricks” you will want to learn is called a Switch. While performing a V-Orbit (vertical orbit), the end ball (the one not in your hand) orbits the middle ball. A Switch involves carefully dropping the end ball you are holding, and quickly grabbing the other end ball as it comes up to you from orbiting the middle ball. A Consecutive Switch is simply performing a Switch over and over. At first, you may have a hard time discerning the middle ball from the end ball as they quickly orbit each other. An easy way to tell them apart (and speed up the learning process) is to tune a different color middle ball. For example, tune a set of Astrojax V-Max with Ruby Red end balls and a Citrus Yellow middle ball. As you attempt to learn a Switch, you can now focus on grabbing the red end ball (instead of the yellow middle ball by mistake). This is a great way to quickly learn Switches and Consecutive Switches, and make your Astrojax look sweet in the process! These two basic tricks are elusive at first, but quickly become second nature once you get the hang of it. Switches are also basic “building blocks” of more advanced tricks you will want to eventually learn. Good luck and have fun! |
